Team B finished 8th
Sycamore had two teams compete in the 2023 Middle School National Quiz Bowl Championship Tournament in Chicago on Saturday and Sunday.
Sycamore B finished 8th out of 160 Schools with a 10-4 record (including playoff rounds). Team members included: Steve Hackwelder, Jeffrey Kirkendall, Gavin Sigua, Shayen Maun, and Evan Ting.
Sycamore A finished 13th out of 160 schools with a record of 9-4 (including playoff rounds). Team members included Riva Jain, Alessandro Salerno, Sameer Zaidi, Sonali Guttikonda, and Annalisa Schuth.
Sameer Zaidi and Evan Ting were selected as All-Stars for the tournament.
