Three Sycamore middle school students have achieved honors in the 2021 Booth Tarkington Prize for Young Writers through Butler University. Sycamore 8th grader Sophie Liang was named winner of Middle School Prose, 5th grader Prudence Peng is runner-up for Elementary Prose, and 5th grader Izzy Abraham is runner-up for Elementary Poetry. Congratulations to all the winners! These writers' pieces will appear in an upcoming anthology along with selections from other youth writers.
