On Thursday, February 17, 12 students represented at the Chapter MATHCOUNTS Competition. Sycamore was led by Justin Puno who finished 2nd overall out of 122 participants, Kaitlyn Park was 3rd, Jennifer Hu 6th, Sophie Liang 8th, and Shayen Maun 9th. Each of these students earned a spot in the state MATHCOUNTS Competition on March 12 at Rose Hulman. They will compete for one of four spots to represent Indiana at the National MATHCOUNTS Competition in May. Also earning state qualifying scores for Sycamore were Riti Tandra, Alex Cheng, Leo Sniderman, Akhil Jois, and Evan Ting.
