Sycamore School hosted a Veterans Day Service on Friday, November 11, with a schoolwide performance of "Taps" at 11:11 am. Sycamore students and staff honored military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
Sycamore’s combined Middle School choir sang the lyrics to "Taps", followed by a cascading rendition of the same song performed by instrumentals in grades 3-8 across the Sycamore grounds.
Commemorative pins were designed by Sycamore 7th Grade student Sawyer Jackson. They were distributed to the students involved in the service.
Attending guests included American Veterans of our Sycamore family and friends, including those currently serving.
